Our Belief
Across all industries, and no matter the title, Black Women and women of color are censored in the workplace, as entrepreneurs, and in life. WE ARE SHATTERING THE STATUS QUO! The Activate Network and its members do not believe in the societal pedestal of perfection Black Women and Women of Color have been placed on.
Established in 2017, The Activate Network is a global community of fiercely inclusive Black Women and Women of Color professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders. In psychologically safe and culturally affirming in-person and digital environments, we nourish each member’s soul through community, content, and experiences.

The Activate Network illuminates and leverages each member’s experience and uniqueness to help them become confident, courageous, and sustainable leaders in the workplace, as entrepreneurs, and in life.
Work Well
Over time, operating in survival mode leaves Black women, and Women of Color stressed and overwhelmed. Many times, we feel exhausted, silenced, and imbalanced. We acknowledge, affirm, and listen to all experiences, abilities, and past decisions that led members to this point in their life journey. The Activate Network supports members’ motivation for change and behavioral activation through business, and signature events, member-only training, and partnerships.
Own Well
We are mothers, daughters, sisters, professionals, leaders, entrepreneurs, and more. As each title has its own needs and responsibilities, our lives and time can be pulled in infinite directions that do not always align with our needs. We define “owning well” as the ability to use your time, wealth, knowledge, or whatever you may want to pursue as you see fit.
To ensure that each member is poured into positivity and productive energy, it is essential for the Activate Network to build trust and a respective relationship. Our team curates monthly experiences for members to have the psychologically safe space to explore, clarify, and gain an understanding of the goals and expectations they have for themselves, their careers, and family.
Live Well
We see that to live well; it goes beyond being in an energetic state. It means we are physically, mentally, and emotionally conscious of the internal work necessary to foster a life where we live to our highest and greatest good.
Life is designed to be LIVED. Members receive the tools and strategies necessary to support change and create a balance in their lives, whether they are professionals, entrepreneurs, or leaders. And, with the help of our Community Manager, we host quarterly goal check-in meetings to provide accountability.
